AHI Member Meets Vice President Joe BidenWASHINGTON, DC — American Hellenic Institute (AHI) Member Peter Bota recently shared a moment with Vice President Joe Biden when the vice president paid a visit to Metro 29 Diner, Arlington, Va., which is co-owned by Bota, on December 7, 2012. The vice president was delivering a message about the pending “fiscal cliff” the country is facing. “We are proud to share this exciting news with the community,” said AHI President Nick Larigakis. “Peter is a valued member of AHI and a strong supporter of AHI and its programs.” Recently, Metro 29 Diner was a sponsor of AHI’s Ninth Annual Golf Classic, among many other AHI events during the year. Bota’s son, Christopher, also had the opportunity to meet Vice President Biden.
