Gregory Graves earned his BA in history from the University of San Diego in 2014. In May of 2016, he completed his Masters in History, with a concentration in imperial and colonial studies, at the George Washington University. In the spring of 2016, he was awarded the George Washington University History Department’s Howard M. Sachar prize for best graduate student research paper for his piece “Five Days in July: Tilting Toward Taksim.” In the fall of 2017, Gregory began the PhD program in History at George Washington. In addition to his forthcoming dissertation on U.S. policy during the Cyprus Crisis, he is researching and writing on the South Korean nuclear program in the 1970s and teaching two undergraduate discussion sections of U.S. diplomatic history since 1890.
