AHI Business Network Presented Breakfast and Seminar on “New Investment Opportunities in Greece: Alternative Sources of Energy and Real Estate”WASHINGTON, DC—On March 30, 2007, the American Hellenic Institute Business Network in cooperation with the Embassy of Greece and sponsored by PAKLaw Firm (Athens, Greece) presented a Breakfast and Seminar on “New Investment Opportunities in Greece: Alternative Sources of Energy and Real Estate” at the Four Seasons Hotel, Washington, DC. The seminar, which approximately 100 persons attended, began with opening remarks by AHI Executive Director Nick Larigakis. AHI Legal Counsel Nick Karambelas was the moderator. Ambassador Alexandros Mallias, Ambassador of Greece to the U.S., welcomed the guests and gave remarks on investment opportunities in Greece and Southeast Europe. The keynote speaker was Alexandros I. Papasteriopoulos, LL.B., LL.M, Director, PAKLaw, Athens Greece. The panel speakers includedNassos Nikolopoulos, LL.B., LL.M. speaking on “The New Framework of Energy Investments in Greece,” Alex Laios, B.A., J.D., LL.M. presented on “Step by Step Real Estate Transactions,” and Zacharias Kesses, LL.B. spoke on “Tourism Investments in Greece.”
