Philadelphia Fundraiser For AHI Features Greek Ambassador Alexander Philon As Special Guest Speaker On Saturday, May 18, 2002, Philadelphia-area members and friends of the American Hellenic Institute (AHI) held a fundraising reception to garner additional financial support for the organization. The reception was hosted at the home of AHIPAC Chairman and longtime member Nicholas Chimicles, Esq. and his wifeKathleen in Devon, Pennsylvania. The evening's special guest speaker was Ambassador Alexander Philon,Ambassador of Greece to the U.S, who spoke on the current status of U.S.-Greece relations. Also attending the event was U.S. Representative Joseph M. Hoeffel (D-PA) along with his wife Francesca, and AHI Executive Director Nick Larigakis.
