BACKGROUND:
The American Hellenic Institute would like to inform you that the AHI 2006 Congressional Questionnaire on U.S. foreign policy issues regarding Greece, Cyprus, and Turkey has been sent to all incumbents and challengers in the House and Senate. We encourage grassroots leaders and members to contact the incumbent and challenger in their congressional district to answer the questionnaire.
Election day is November 7, 2006. The entire 435 seats in the House of Representatives are up for election every two years. One-third of the 100 U.S. Senate seats are up for election every two years.
The 2006 questionnaire for Congressional Candidates is attached including a list of Senators who are up for re-election in 2006. Please report any action taken to Alex Aliferis at the American Hellenic Institute by calling 202-785-8430 or sending an e-mail to [email protected].
